We've had very many snow days, one or two power-outages, and even a roof day, but now a fire day?

Firstly, in case you've never heard of it, it is considered a roof day when there is too much snow piled up on the roof, and school is cancelled since the school board is afraid its going to cave in.

So today, while on the school bus, very close to the school, we hear fire trucks. Since the fire department is right across the the street from our school, this isn't uncommon. However, the trucks were at the school today. While pulling into the bus parking lot, we see over half of the kids in the school outside standing on the grass. We usually do not have fire drills at 7.40 AM, and when we do have drills, smoke isn't usually comming from the school building.

Turns out a fuse blew that morning, causing a chain reaction with all the others in the school. The ones in the building, including Bites, had to evacuate, and the ones just arriving were not permitted inside. School was cancelled for the day, and will only resume on Wednesday (it is Monday today). I spent the day with a couple of friends, which was a lot of fun.

I've been trying to remember to bring a camera with me everywhere I go, in case something great or unusal (or unusually great) were to happen. I did bring a camera. Now I have to work on remembering i have it -_-.
